Global cooling is causing fungus infections to spread!

An article published in USA Today claims "diseases are on the move because of climate change," using the sole example of Coccidioides fungus infections increasing "tenfold since 1998" in the southwestern US.


Satellite data show that since 1998, the globe has cooled:

Using the same logic of alarmists, global cooling is therefore causing fungus infections to spread.

What is the actual cause of the increased incidence?

A large influx of people living in the southwest where Coccidioides is endemic, somehow left out of the headlines.
